Hi There! My name is Kaila Hines and I'm from Los Angeles, California, born and raised.

As a writer, inspired by M Night Shyamalan, Darren Aronofsky, Alex Garland, Alfred Hitchcock, Jordan Peele, and the Twighlight Zone series-  I'm known  to jump around with ideas and unique stories that express my creativity and passion for otherworldly and strange things that we perceive as cool or scary.

My goal is to be a writer and filmmaker that challenges the audience's traditional boundaries of thinking when watching my films. And with that, I have been writing for 10 years (going on 11yrs) with various script ideas and screenplays focusing around psychological thrillers/horror, crime drama series, comedy thrillers, and potential anime series in the near future.

As a critical thinker with a strong desire to grow with a positive and uplifting personality, I bring my drive, professionalism, cheerful attitude, leadership, and strong work ethic to the table. My technical and creative skills are focused around Adobe programs, script revision, editing, lighting, Final Cut, Final Draft, Movie Magic, Microsoft Office, and lots more wherever I may go.
